In 2003 Relaunch of Bäumler brand: we divided collection into 2 different styles: Black Label, more classical look and White Label, smart – casual style.

Bäumler has made reorganization and outsourcing of non core activities such as transfer of production to Eastern Europe, warehousing and logistics.

Bäumler has well established and positioned brands such as “Bäumler” and Private Labels. The private label division uses the expertise of the various Bäumler brands to participate in the increasing share of trade brands. Private label activities are split into:

Main product groups of the private label activities are suits, jackets and trousers. Customers are fashion retail chains, department stores, mail-order, price aggressive discounters and major independent fashion retailers.

1944 Start of production in Ingolstadt, Germany, and Hohenems, Austria.
1961 Opening of sales offices in Zurich, Antwerp, London and Copenhagen.
1974 New headquarters established in Ingolstadt and Hch. Muermann, a menswear producer based in Minden, Germany acquired.
1979 Acquisition of Schildt-Modell-Kleidung, Regensburg Germany.
1987 Acquisition of 43 % stake in Hungarian company Styl (producer of men & ladies wear).
1989 Formation of GFT Bäumler AG by Bäumler AG, Gruppo GFT, Turin and Citicorp
1991 License Agreement with Louis Féraud.
1994 Acquisition of “Kaiser Design” brand.
1996 Bäumler family repurchased GFT´s stake and now owns 75% of the equity.
